Too little time

hiya fellas.. yeah, been since i dont know.. the last time i blogged like ages ago. maybe just was never in the mood. oh well, here i am :)
So i'm into the 3rd semester.. 2nd semester wasn't too shabby. Made new friends, built stronger friendships and did many new things. Note to self, never go cycling for an hour in the early hours of the morning without eating anything before. :S

Hmm... results came back and I didn't achieve a single goal i set out. Lol, oh well.. if you aim for the stars, you'll probably only reach the moon. There's still this semester to salvage some pride. I might just do it this time. *might*

Grandma's baptism is over. haha, she did it before my sis and I. how crazy is that. oh well, good for her and the family then :D had the privilege to reunite with some old cousins during the baptism. They're all grown up, so old (haha) with girlfriends and all.

That kinda got me thinking.. they're all overseas now. living the life ya know. all the pictures i see really makes me feel as though I SHOULD be doing something worth while. setting up the future to be enjoyable. Games like DOTA and whatnot really should be minimal during this day of age.. *SOMEONE HELP ME!!*

Hopefully the next few months will bear some fruit. there aren't enough things I've done so far this year to be remembered for. Nobody wants 2010 to go by just like that right? haha, my pastor once said.. "would you want someone to ask you, ' so how was 2010 for you?' and you reply by saying 'what happened in 2010?'..." that'll just be soooo sad.

oh and I've found a new gym partner, Alfred. We gonna be hittin' the gym every week before church now. So, you guys better watch out for some changes soon enough :D

anyways, i gtg now.. hopefully i'll be more diligent in posting some stuff here. catch up with y'all again soon!!

An end to another historical moment

Hey!! sorry for the sudden enthusiasm. Okay, I shall be myself now. *SOBSSS* Holland lost the finals! -sigh- I'm not against Spain; I actually love their style of football but I was really rooting for the Dutch. I guess the OCTOPUS was right yet again!!

Congrats to Spain players and nation, it was really nice seeing all of 'em so happy. Iker Casillas' face says it all. He even kissed his girlfriend on LIVE TV!! haha, apparently she was voted hottest reporter in the world (who gives them the authority to give her that title? though she is hot :D ). Oh and by the way, the referee seriously made so many bizarre decisions. The De Jong Kung fu kick, Puyol's foul and the clear corner kick that was given a goal kick. This call for some technology seriously!

Ahhh! how i want that feeling the Spaniards had the second the referee blew the whistle. I bet it was awesome. The whole world stops before you can even realise you've created history that generations in the future will remember for a very very long time. Phew!! I'm just getting high thinking 'bout it xP

Oh, did ya realise that the song "Wavin' Flag" was also dedicated to the Haiti people. It's not bad' even with the Bieber ending haha xD take a listen



Oh and I've just hit the Glee Season where Quinn stops wearing the cheerleader outfit. I think she was so perfect then, now she looks even better! Phew!! I've never had this ooomph since Nina dobrev xD

So I guess its the end of World Cup. Another 4 years in Brazil? haha, let's wait till then and see if Spain can retain their title. I guess this is the cue to start studying. exams and assignments are coming up! Oh oh!! and 180 Musical at DUMC is on this Sunday! do come!! 5pm or 3pm for the pre-event stuffs :D

A new Addiction

Hey guys.. sorry been very busy with stuff of late. Haven't really got the chance to post anything up for awhile as ya can see. :)
anyways, been on this new addiction lately. It's called "GLEE"!! haha yeah that TV series you know? I guess probably right now in my life, i'm really intrigued by all these teenage drama stuff. It's kinda cool, if you haven't seen it yet. the actress Dianna Agron playing the role "Quinn" is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooo HOTTTTTTTT!!! gahh, i love that girl. who doesnt?? Rachel is okay okay. not my type. So yeah, if ya don't know what i'm talking about, seriously go check it out man! and check HER out! :)

So, World Cup's been going on. One of my teams got knocked out (argentina), sadly to say. At least Holland made it through to the finals! I hope Spain avenge Argentina's defeat by beating Germany later tonight. Actually, I've never seen Argentina play so badly in that quarterfinal clash. Come to think of it, I'm statring to believe in all the match-fixing bookies stuff. For example, that Holland-Brazil game.. at the end Holland could've easily scored 3-4 goals but they played like kindergarten kids towards the goal. Oh well, I hope there's none of that nonsense later tonight. GO SPAIN!!

I've gotta go now. need to sleep in order to wake up for the match later. will post some personal commentary 'bout it. xD

My story Book

hey guys. Sorry, have been busy lately. doing stuff, assignments, tests.. didn't really have enough time to post something up. anyways, i'm here now. :D

First of all, Fifa WORLD CUP 2010 has been quite disappointing thus far. Only Germany have shown somewhat of a world class pedigree as they beat Australia 4-0. The rest have really been boring and even Spain lost to Switzerland!! and to think I had predicted a 3-0 or 4-0. 2nd round of matches start later, let's hope for something better this time. SOUTH AFRICA FTW! :)

i've got another 2 days of college before holidays start. Hmm... should we have a CG outing this saturday? oh and I'm heading off to Singapore for a few days with me high school mates. It's been quite some time since we've got together, so I think it'll be great. I think Joy and whoever else helped did an awesome job planning. These are the kinda people you would really want in a team project and whatnot. Though, Kai xiang can't be able to make it :( sucks

Oh and i can drive already. Did i tell you? well, only around KK for now but thats good enough. Hopefully I'll be able to drive out further soon :) give me a holler if you need a ride :P

i've been watching some sentimental videos lately. Then I thought to myself... maybe in say.... 10-15 years time, when i'm somewhere in another country (probably europe).. at a countryside town with some friends sitting in this field of yellow flowers and the wind breezes through our faces accompanied by the warmth the sun knows only.. that I might think and look back at all the wonderful memories life has given me in the past. Flashbacks you know.. somehow I have this vision that it will happen one day. kinda like the video "Wake me when September ends".

Wouldn't that just be an awesome moment? when the world around you just stops for a period of time where you can just appreciate life as it should be, watching the happy and memorable images pass by. It is after all your own personal story book that you and probably God knows every single detail of it. ahhh, how soothing that'll be :)

So yeah, i'm writing my book as i'm writing this post too. hahaha, it really gives you a wake up call as to what you're doing with life. You don't wanna turn 80 one day and look back at a scarred or scribbled page in your book. No regrets! That's what I need to live for. Maybe you should too.

need to get back on track with life. i'm 18 for heaven's sake.. should enjoy as an 18 year old while i still can :D it's 28 minutes past 1am now. Been like that lately, not good for health. so i guess i'll see y'all again.. hopefully sometime soon :)

NERDS here i come!

yo wassup.. okay i've had my last day of fun today. It's time to start the transition into nerd mode starting tomorrow. I reviewed my study hours for the past month or so.. it's been an average of 0 and 1 hour per week... gahhhh!!! this sucks. I feel guilty. Ever felt that? When you play and go out, having fun.. a part of you just tells you "HEY THAT JUST ABOUT ENOUGH!".

So yeah, I'm having that life revelation now. I recently scored a 3.8 outta 5 for this ridiculous math assignment that I could've easily scored the full 5 had I not done it half-awake. grrrr, didn't occur to me while I was doing it that it was worth the 5 marks. must've slipped my mind. From now on, I ain't going to give away any more free marks.

Topic tests are coming up. I'm going for the 10% for math. I'ma make sure this semester math score's above 90. English above 85% and macro econs above 80%. Malaysian studies is a different story. hahaha, yeah history is quite boring. But I think they're only having the interesting parts and its in english so it isn't too bad. I'm gunning for a 90% for that too.

As you can see, i've set my standards. Have you for yours? if you haven't then it's about time you do. Or else what's the point of you studying? You need a goal!

A whole new world

hi there. yeah, you. Well, first things first... I passed my driving exam xD how cool is that huh? scored a 17/20. haha, i don't really care bout the score.. as long as i passed it.

This means, i'm a legal driver. Might be getting a car, dunno when though. For now, i'm just practicing with parents before they actually allow me to drive on my own. I wonder how long that'll be? how long was yours? haha

Oh and what kinda spoiled my day was that my SPM remark results were back.. after sooo long. It turns out everything remained the same, "KEKAL" as it was written. Oh well, i guess maybe I had too high an expectation. It was worth the try ;)

Just finished 2nd last practice for CES CHOIR. the shirt provided isn't too bad. A lil' baggy (according to some) but over all okay. We sounded pretty good upon recording. haha, it was like we had our own studio. pretty cool. I can't wait for next week!!

Speaking of next week, someone mentioned South Africa during practice today. haha, it's gonna be a FOOTBALL FRENZY soon. Just another week! HOLLAND and ARGENTINA!! ALL THE WAY BABY!!

oh and federer is outta FRENCH OPEN. That leaves NADAL as the favourite.. haha, another GS title in the bag RAFA. Oh and I'm supporting Stosur in the women's draw. she's quite good xD

college has been good to me lately. Starting to express myself more. Knowing lots more people. Then again there's this side of me i'm trying to get rid of. The loud talkative side. The boastfulness at times. Gahhh, sometimes it comes out naturally before I can even control it and that's what hurt the most. Do you have something similar? Something about you you just really want outta your system. Gosh, it's about time I start to grow up. Russel Peters once said, "be a man! Do the right thing!". haha or should the honour go to the chinese dude who said it? :P

anyways, been sleeping very late these past week or so. Friends and I having some fun on9 till late nights which isn't very good for health. tsk tsk, those of you staying up till 1am or so and with school the next morning should really kick the habit now :)
