hi you! it's the 30th of December 2009. I think it's about time you take a few minutes to look back at the year and remember all the little things that make the most memorable moments in your life. After all, they only come by once. It could be anything... making new friends, having some awesome vacation or trip somewhere, a promotion, a new loved one, getting married, having a child.. it's all wrapped up in one package called "memories" that I'm sure you'll cherish for life. If you don't have even a single one of those to remember, then you really are in trouble. GET A LIFE!!!
Okay, I'm sorry that was rude. But seriously, if you don't then you need some spice in your life somewhere and soon. Hmm... for me, I guess 2009 was quite an awesome year. Made really good friends, had superb fellowship with them, I grew in the Lord this year, taking up more responsibilities in church. I even became class monitor of 5Science1. Hehe, I never would have figured that out a couple of years ago. I finished SPM and later today I'm gonna spend some time with my friends and for some, probably it will be the last time. So yeah, looking back at it I'm really blessed by God to have 2009 in my life and all that has happened during the year. Yeah, sure there were the down sides as well.. like embarassing yourself in front of the whole school singing "stand By Me" or being pushed here and there because some people wanted you to be a man and talk to the girl you like or wasting alot of money on things you really shouldnt at all. So basically there were also a lot of learning points in 2009. Oh and did I mention, I performed for the Christian Fellowship events on the bass guitar and it was an awesome experience. Finally I get to perform in front of a crowd and not just to myself in front of a mirror. xPxP
I've grown to cherish the people I love most and I guess that matters most really. I mean yeah sure you're super tight with your friends and buddies and all but when it comes to family, no one can replace them. Love your parents more.. they might be gone one day and you might never experience the joy of saying " I love you mom" or "I love you dad" anymore once they're gone. Love your sisters too ( if you have one ) because you might never know when they might just get infected with the H1N1 virus and dissappear outta your lives just like that. So seriously, pay more attention to your family because after all said and done, they are the ones you turn to when everything seems meaningless.
Gosh, I just mixed sentimental and nostalgic and the same time.. not a very good combination. Blahhh.... I shall revert myself back to the present. Anywayz, just wanted to let you all know that you should be doing something special today in case you didnt do any throughout the year that you can remember. Even if you have, just do something today that you'll remember in 10 years time. Hopefully we make it to 10 years. According to that movie... I reckon we only have about 2 years more before we all DIE!!! nahhh... it's probably just crap.....
OR IS IT??!?!
hahaha anyways, i'll see you guys soon.

Future Decided
hiya fellas. two days into my blogging renaissance.. just got back from Pulau Pangkor. I thought it was quite awesome. I canoe-ed for the first time and I even went para sailing for the first time. I will post some pictures up next time. If you havent tried para sailing before then I seriously recommend that you do 'cause its really a superb feeling to be about 50-100 feet above the ground. So yeah, do try it out.
Anyway, about my prediction on MU being at the top of the BPL come new year.. I guess it didn't pend out the way I wanted it to. Chelsea got lucky with a win over Fulham. O'well, MU will still win it :):)
Back to the real world. After persuasion and some thought... I've finalised where I would be studying for my Pre-U and University. I'll be putting pen to paper tommorrow in Sunway College doing the FIA course in business. I'll be doing a 3+0 uni course locally and my masters in the University of Lancaster the following year. Phew... that's like 5 years ahead. I'm only 17 !!! then again, that is quite old already. -sigh- and by the way... I can't drive yet. =(
I've got to suffer with the transportation for now. I need my license thick and fast !
Oh and did I mention. College starts this MONDAY!!! I've only got about 5 days of holidays left to enjoy. gosh time flies sooo fast. I'm really nervous bout college. I hope everything's ok.. making new friends and stuff.
hmmm...I hope tommorrow's event turns out well. No rain please I beg You God! Just a day.. and probably even the last day I spend with some of my friends.
I've got to go now. Its very late. will see y'all soon

Free bird?
hiya my rusty old blog. oooh, how I missed you. anyway, i shall not loathe myself in love with an object for too long. how are you all?? my blog followers must be extinct right about now. o'well, thats the price you pay for abandoning ur blog for so long.
so away from all that nonsense... in case you don't already know, well yeah im done with SPM... finally, after so long. then again, I look back at it and wonder... it's not really as suicidal as people think it is. I mean yeah sure its a big thing but nothing that you should go cuckoo about. Come to think of it, I don't exactly feel like a free bird. It feels like any other holidays i've had for the past what...11 years? only that this one is shorter because the exams end in december and college starts in january.
So yes, an advice to my juniors. Take SPM as though it were any other exam. There's no need to panic whatsoever and you'll believe me once you've gone through it. Though I must say that you need to study abit more for this one.. haha as always I do regret not studying enough for exams.. but this one is a major one that I just can't rectify anymore. SO, DO HEED MY BRILLIANT ADVICE and start early before its too late.
now, apart from all the hoo-haa of exams, there is still life to this "lost" kid. Am still pondering on which college to go to or what course to take. Taylors, sunways?? Business? Engineering? Actuarial science? so little time so much to do. -sigh- how I'd love 28 hours in a day.
I guess I'm just waiting on what God has in store for me next. I hope it's exciting xPxP
I've been listening to this song by Taylor Swift, "Fifteen".. changing the lyrics to "eighteen" and of course the girly parts to guy parts. its really quite nice, if you havent listened to it, then you really should.
Into the global world, I just wanna say.... MAN U won HULL hahaha!! I tip MU to be at the summit of the premier league come new year. Don't you agree??
hmm.. I'm with my family in pulau pangkor right now for the holidays. And as I'm typing this, there is this suuupeeer cute girl dancing in front of me. she's quite pretty. sweet and silk smooth skin. Long breezy hair. What more could you want? then again... I think she's probably 7 or 8 years old. HAHAHA, a lil' too young for me?
Well, as I look back at this year I guess it's really a blessing. It's been a good year. I hope to end it on a high. I'm having one last gathering with friends on the 30th and am looking forward to having a great time with them.
I think it's about time I stop here. My first post for such a long time is quite long enough. :):)
I hope to see you guys again soon. Gonna enjoy some lunch buffet now. By the way, BUFFET is pronounced as BOO FAY, NOT BUFFET!!
and to my sister... HORIZON is pronounced HO-RYE-ZEN. not HO-RI-ZAWN. ZZZzzz, and she's somehow my flesh and blood. haha, just kidding. I mean no offense, otherwise she's gonna eat all my food later. ciao peeplz

joke post
Hey guys, I figured that since I didn't have much time I'd just tell you a few jokes to entertain you for the next 5 mins or so.
Joke#1 ( a lil' bit dirty, so if you think you're clean, then you can skip it )
What did the penis say to the condom?
-- " Cover me... I'm going in !"
Joke#2
A wife asked her husband: What do you like most in me, my pretty face or my sexy body?
He looked at her from head to toe and replied: your sense of humor..
Joke#3
Wife: Give me some money. I want to buy a bra.
Husband: Why? You have nothing to put in it!
Wife: Well, You wear shorts!
Joke#4
Wife: I just lost ten pounds!
Husband: Turn around, I think I found them.
Joke#5
Oh well, that's about enough jokes for the day. Vote for which joke is the funniest in the poll on the left. xD
till next time peeps,

it's that time
gosh, this blog seems ancient. Can't remember the last time I took some time to write here. Yeah so, it's like mid-July and I guess this is where the pressure heats up. Exams are drawing close, important events are happening and I'm stuck in between what I should choose. For example, MU is training today ( I missed it :( ) and they are playing against Malaysia XI tomorrow which I'm also gonna miss. My church is having LOUD! '09 next Sunday which lucky for me I'm going. Then there's movie fiesta on Sunday night. Yeah cool all the activities sounds nice but....
ExaMs!!!
Oh my gosh... I have BK trials this Sunday, pre-trials two weeks from now, trials after that and post trials AFTER THAT !.. not to mention gerak gempur AFTER THAT! OMG! How la?? form 5 exams sucks.. too many, too little time. I have even studied shit. How am I possibly gonna survive? *sobbing*
Try to think of the positives yeah? hmm... nah can't think of any. Oh well, let me think of the happy moments. Errr, my band practice is coming along pretty well. We've been practicing quite abit ( although we've put it on hold for now ) and I really think we're making progress. We might be posting some of 'em practices on youtube soon so you can go check it out.
Anyways, I'm kinda excited about Loud'09. I'm anticipating alot of blockbuster stuff this year. Go check out the promotional video on youtube.. just type " DUMC LOUD'09 "...
Oh by the way, did you guys check out Transformers 2?? Phew! it was awesome man. It had everything, from superb robot combats to hot chicks walking around in towels. xPxP
Megan Fox? HAWT !! All that rubbish about her being a guy is pure and utter nonsense. I mean, if you have watched the movie.. how can you possibly tell me that she's not hot? especially at the start where she's on the motorbike and where she changes clothes to that white gown. WHOA!!! HAWT !!! jealous la Shia get to make out with her and all. I guess people like me were meant to watch people like them make out. x)
anyways.. I don't have time now. Hope to see y'all soon. I hope MU plays well tomorrow and Owen bags a few goals. I'm sorry Malaysia, but GO MAN U !!!

What a weekend !
phew! whats up fellas... ahh long time no see. anyway, yeah it has been a weekend that I just had to share it with you. Well, it started on Saturday having to wake up at 6 in the morning to go to school. I had a futsal championship to win but sadly enough it had to rain after the first round. ( it's a knockout tournament ) We advanced to the second round but it was delayed because of the rain. Oh well, the rain continued and it ended up being postponed to the following Saturday. -huge sigh-
moving on, I came back around 1, had 20 minutes to get ready and leave for youth church. Had the enormous privilege to watch my cg member, Dianne lead worship for the first time. haha, that was kinda cool.
Came back at 5.15 and of course the moment i've been waiting for for so long. The KK CF MUSICAL !!!!
We had our last minutes practices and the time finally came. Let's start off with praise and worship. Well it was my first time so yeah I was a LITTLE nervous about it. But seriously, I thought it was quite good. Overall I mean, with the whole band and everything. Praise the Lord for that !
Next, the drama of course. First of all, let me just say if you weren't there to catch it then I have one thing to say....
"I'm SORRY !!!"
'cause the drama was AWESOME ! SUPERB ! FANTASTIC ! I'm running outta superlatives here. I mean seriously, it was really really great. Not just my opinion, the others ( crew and cast ) also said so and most importantly the audience said so. All and I do mean all that were there said that everything was phenomenal from the emcee-ing to the praise and worship to the drama and short sermon and altar call. Phew ! I really can't describe how awesome it was. Anyway, I think someone video taped it so you should be able to check it out on youtube or something. I'll tell you the site when I get the details. So yeah, everything went well, every detail.. ahhhh I'm so proud of myself and the rest for pulling off such a great event. We all celebrated late into the night after that until about 1am plus. I mean who can blame us? We've been doing this since like 2-3 months ago so yeah I thought it was worth the hysteria celebrations.
So as you can see, I literally spent the whole day out. I dropped dead when I reached home. Gosh you don't know how 'em contact lenses hurt after wearing them for literally 20 hours straight. Friendly advise, sleep enough and try not to wear contacts for too long... ( speaking from experience now ) xPxP
Sunday now, went for celebration. Half-dead during the sermon after yesterday's fiestas. Had 2 hours of bible knowledge class after that where we were watching a movie called "'Paul of Tarsus' or something like that. It wasn't really nice but oh well I guess it helps in the exams. kinda funny though.
Oh and speaking of movies, I've just asked my dad to download the movie 'The Exorcist' from the late 70's or 80's I'm not sure. Apparently based on the review I get from family and friends, it's like the No.1 scariest movie of all time. Ahhh!! I can't wait to watch it.
By the way, report card day is next Saturday. Gosh I wonder what my teachers are gonna say about me. Moreso the fact that my studies are deteriorating by the minute. SPM is in about 150 days just in case you didn't know. 150 days !!! Gosh !!!
anyway i gtg now, too much time blogging...

Just about up
Hmmm... 2 weeks? what kinda holiday period is that? I mean it's already up. Today is the last day if you exclude the weekends of course. -sigh- that's the price you pay for having too much fun. At least I still have 3 more days to go. I'm having movies tonight with friends, FCS2 tomorrow, and a trip to KL with Kai Xiang and Edwin on Sunday. I think that's not a bad way to end your holidays.
Ahh.. let's review whats been happening. Have been watching movies, loads of them. Did I mention National Treasure both 1 and 2 are great. Gosh I love Diane Kruger. Another movie is Van Wilder, its quite old but seriously very nice. Tara Reid, you really gotta check her out in that movie. xPxP
moving along.. There's this song "Salvation is here" by Hillsong United. I knew the song, I just didn't know how could it was. I'm kinda addicted to it now and I'm learning the base part of this song. The solo base is really cool, go check it out on youtube.
You guys know about the song by plain white T's 1,2,3,4 ? What do you think if a guy plays that song for a girl? A little but too cliche? Then again, the word cliche was made for a reason. So yeah, I've learned the song chords and I thought maybe... just maybe. haha
So, into the sports world for abit. In case you don't already know, Cristiano Ronaldo is off to Madrid. It's about time MU cash in on him. I don't really like his attitude. And congrats to Fedex for finally getting his French title. Nadal for Wimbledon !!
Back closer to home. I'm having or rather my school CF is having the Friends Musical Play next Saturday and I'm sure it's bound to be a blast. So come and watch us at New Life Church and I bet you're in for a treat.
Ahh, I have to mention.. that I've seriously not studied at all during this 2 week period. I feel so bad and guilty seeing as SPM is in like what 5 months??? Gosh, I can still remember myself saying " SPM is still in 2 years time, relax don't worry" right after receiving my PMR results. How fast time has passed. -sigh-
Had add maths and history work to do during the holidays along with the other work given which I did not touch at all.

All Over
3 things. Teacher's Day performance is over!! Mid-term exams are over !!!! Manchester United's reign as European champions are over!!!!!
Okay we'll take it one step at a time. First up is the performance. Oh well, based on the feedback I got, I think everything went well. The only downside to it was where my partner Kai Xiang's guitar wasn't loud enough. Come to think of it, no one actually heard his guitar. -sigh- If only this mishap didn't happen it really would have been a great performance. Anyway, it's a learning lesson we will move forward with. Oh and it was a nice feeling to play the song and have the whole crowd (including the teachers!!) sing it with you. Moreover, the two flowers really sparked things up !
haha. Yeah overall I guess it was great, seeing as it was my first performance in front of a really big and tough crowd.
We're moving on... finally mid-terms are over !! yeah! I think I did relatively okay this term. I didn't really study much except probably for add math. I did receive two papers back. I got an A1 for math and a very sad B3 for Bio. Gosh, I really gotta buck up on Bio to have any chance of getting into med school... really ! Anyway, yeah mid-terms are done with and here come the holidays !
Last but not least, how could Manchester United lose to Barcelona 2-0 ?!?!
I'm not saying Barcelona don't deserve it 'cause they really battered ManU, totally and utterly outplaying them, but 2-0?? -sigh- I as a Manchester United fan am really disappointed with the team performance and I bow before the best team in the world, Barcelona CF.
Let me evaluate MU's performance by player based on my view..
-Van Der Sar
Did well, made a few good saves to keep Manchester United in the game. Probably Man U's best player on the night.
-John O'Shea
did his job but didn't really offer much of an attacking option for the team.
-Rio Ferdinand
Way below what he is capable of. Not controlling enough in the box and no leadership.
-Nemanja Vidic
Utterly poor game. This one goes together with the Liverpool game where I have never seen him play so badly. He was one of the reason's that Eto' managed to score the first goal. Sloppy defending at crucial moments.
-Patrice Evra
Had his game plan of stopping Messi totally wrecked after the Argentine maestro was deployed in the middle of the midfield. Hardly sparked anything down the left flank.
-Park JiSung
Didn't bring anything to the game at all apart from the 2nd minute when he almost scored. Literally invisible at times and a real disappointment.
-Anderson
I felt he was really of no use in the game. He was actually deployed in midfield to run his socks off chasing the likes of Andres Iniesta and Xavi but seriously? I don't understand how he could have just let Iniesta run pass him as though he wasn't even there and that led to the first and crucial goal.
-Ryan Giggs
Probably one of MU's better players. Then again, no vision with the ball and no ideas sparking when those were the key elements needed. My idol failed me miserably.
-Wayne Rooney
I think he was one of MU's worse off players, giving away the ball too cheaply on numerous occasion and not imposing himself in the game. Indecisive at times and not offering much of an attacking option although he did get a few chances himself.
-Michael Carrick
Not enough pinpoint passing that he usually does. Didn't take control of the game and lost the midfield battle to Iniesta and Xavi completely. Never did look like running the midfield at all that day.
-Cristiano Ronaldo
Selfish at times but looking at the way the other MU players were doing, I don't really blame him for using the ball himself. Wasn't his day as Messi won the battle of the 'best player in the world'.
I won't give you the details for the subs ( Berbatov, Scholes and Tevez ) as you can see 2-0 doesn't say much about them. I guess it was the wrong tactics by Fergie this time, such a waste. Don't worry we'll get another stint at it next year ! Sorry if I've been a little critical up there..
Yeah, enough of football for me for the season, only left with the FA Cup Final tomorrow. Oh and just so you didn't know, the French Open is on now and I'm supporting Rafael Nadal all the way for a 5th consecutive Roland Garros title.
Mmmm.... Basketball East and West conference are also on with the scores tied at 2-2 and 2-1 respectively ( last time I checked ). Last but not least, Jenson Button won the latest track event at the french grid. Looks like Mclaren and Ferrari are going down the drain this year.
That's about the latest news in sports I know. Heading for a new day tomorrow, so I guess I'll be seeing ya'll again soon.

P.S. I'm starting that D.O.T.A. game now. I know how much I criticised it before but yeah I'm trying it now. I'm not a hypocrite! So yeah that's all. See ya..

What is to come ahead?
Heya fellas...
First of all, "I told you so!" Manchester United were gonna make it into the final. I never really had a doubt about it and quite frankly I don't think any of the players did. Like Patrice Evra said and I quote, " It was like 11 men against 11 babies". He couldn't have said it any better, sorry to all you Arsenal fans. I wasn't correct on the other match, that I really pity 'em Chelsea fans. Then again, a Barcelona v ManchesterUnited match is a dream Champions League final come true. Ronaldo versus Messi, haha battle of the football gods. Anyway, we'll see how that pends out in a couple of weeks time.
So, with the Champions League final to look forward to, what else in life seems interesting nowadays? Seriously, nothing much.. my social life is going into bits. More so the fact that I have that three week long exams to enjoy starting Tuesday ( what actually am I doing blogging then?!?! ). There's the CF drama play on the 30th, FCS2 on the 31st, Teacher's Day performance ( dunno when ) and futsal match-ups within the month. So yeah, May has quite a few promising events in store. But really, all my attention is on the mid-term exams ( so I say ) and I really hope I get above average results. Any C's would really kill me. At least a B4 yeah? ( that's bad enough already )
Oh and my school organized a trip to Taylor's the other day. It was a cool and learning experience at the same time kinda fun too. In case you didn't already know, I'm planning to indulge myself into the medicine field ( that's after watching 5 seasons of Grey's Anatomy ), but there's also that hint of interest in engineering. Taylor's provide more of an engineering kinda course than meds ( i'm not that sure they even provide for meds ) so I don't see myself actually studying there but it was nice to see how college lifestyle looks and feels like. I also met quite a number of my ex-seniors.
My mom has been bugging me about this National University of Singapore thing which quite frankly seems good according to her. It's positioned in the top 30 or something like that in the list of overall rankings of unis across the globe, so I guess it must be pretty good. It's hard to get in though, probably need to score like straight A1s to have a chance to get in. -sigh- ( straight A1s.... what a dream that would be )
It seems many of my friends like engineering, only a handful opting for medicine and law. I guess we'll wait and see how that all works out in a year's time. I probably should put it to rest for now. Too much planning makes me nervous and tired so yeah I think that'll be a good idea.
It's time for the Manchester derby now... I promise I'll study right after the match... :)
Till the next one people, it's me saying goodbye !

All English Finals?
Hey people. It's April 28th. It's also the eve of the first semi-final clash of the 2008/2009 Champions League between Barcelona CF and Chelsea FC at the Nou Camp. I bet you football fanatics can't wait to get it started. I'm not a fan of neither both of the teams but I myself can't wait for it. Manchester United are playing Arsenal the following day at Old Trafford, now that I really can't wait to watch. So you guys watching the match at 2.30am? Better not miss it!
Honestly speaking, I have a feeling Chelsea are gonna make it through along with Manchester United. We'll have an all English finals, not to mention a repeat of last year's final. So I guess we'll just wait for it to pend out and see what happens.
Anyway, let's talk about something alot closer to home. Lately, there's been this fuss and commotion about prom 2009 for SMKKK and seriously, it got me working. So, I don't get why girls have the opportunity to say " see first " when a guy asks her. Lol, I mean boys aren't some play toys you know. You don't wait till all the toys ask you to prom and then you pick the one with the highest quality. Couldn't they just say a straightforward "No" or "Yes". -sigh- then again, girls are girls. So I guess it's their right. Oh just so you know, prom is not for another 6 months. That's why I don't get the sudden interest in it. Oh well, just in case... "Boys, go book 'em girls before it's too late!"
Yeah, so I think I gotta go study. Exams are in 2 weeks so I have to work hard for this one. Till next one peoples, darrenkhoo signing off...
P.S.
Glory, Glory, Man United
Glory, Glory, Man United
Glory, Glory, Man United
And the Reds go marching On, ON, ON!!!
Manchester United all the way!

Loved ones...
Yeah people,
I hope you didn't miss me too much. Based on the ridiculous poll I put up, boys should get chocolates, sweets, write love songs, love notes, love poems and profess his love for the girl he likes on Valentines. That's kinda a lot to do, considering boys only have so much time. xPxP
So anyway, okay enough about all the hype on this boyfriend-girlfriend relationship thing. In case you didn't know, yesterday was Earth hour. For all you blur peeps, yes it was the time where most people with a heart ( no offense ) decided to turn off their lights. Even Kuala Lumpur played their part by turning most of the lights. Take a look at KLCC man ! Seriously, this should be applauded. So yeah, it was a great time. I spent the time walking around houses with friends around the neighborhood asking them to turn off their lights. One of my friend, Matin went on ringing doorbells and didn't notice one of 'em gates were opened, and got chased by a dog. It was fun and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
SO ANYWAY, back to the main topic of today. In accordance to Earth hour, I've come to learn something and I thought I just wanna share with you people, yeah YOU! I met this really old dude.. ( old means loads of wisdom.. hahaha ) and he spoke to me about stuff. He says this which I believe is quite true, in my case at least.
He said and I quote, " Boy, you're young. You have a long life ahead of you. You spend time with your friends, you have fun. You enjoy the moments and live it to the fullest. Sometimes, you get jealous when you're not invited to parties or events when your other friends are 'cause you want to be everywhere, knowing everything and not wanting to be left out. It's normal. But most friends come and go, there are those who you spend a lifetime with and it's good that you have this sorta friends. But remember, it's your family that matters most. When you lose your dad, he won't be there anymore. The same goes for your mother. Siblings especially, are the ones that keep you company throughout your life. You find safety in them, comfort, company and everything else. So cherish your family, for this is a one time life and you get to live it only once."
There's still loads more that he said that really spoke to me personally, unfortunately I can't remember. So yeah, family... do you spend time with your family a lot? Do you talk to them about anything and everything? Or are friends and your life much more important than them? 'Cause if that's the case, then I hope you know what you're doing.
Gosh, I feel like some old dude man! This is too much to take in. Okay let's do a brief news coverage of what's been happening lately.
Manchester United unfortunately lost yet again to Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage and are now only a single point ahead of Liverpool. Laugh now Liverpool fans, MU are still gonna win the EPL. World Cup Qualifiers are also on today. Oh and remember how I was asking about the controversy surrounding Britney Spears' song "If you seek Amy"? I found out about it a few weeks ago. It meant F*** Me. If you listen really closely, then I think you might be able to catch it.
-sigh- this is tiring, I have exams in a week and I doing this, gawd! Oh yeah speaking of exams, my 3-4 days of studying BK paid off 'cause I got 84% for my BK exam. haha!! My first A for the subject. Just in case you didn't know, SPM trials are in 6 months and SPM in 8 months. OMG !!! Do I have enough time to catch up on everything? I certainly hope so. If you know some special method of how I can buck up on form 4 and 5 syllabus in that little amount of time, do tell! I'm desperate here!
So, that's your regular dosage of darren khoo's life. I hope you enjoyed it, if not at least try to. till the next one peeps..

Persevering !
Yes, Man U fans. The scoreline is 4-1. At Old Trafford ! It's unbelievable but it happened. I'm still in shock, then again it's only one game. I'm confident enough to say MU will still retain the championship for the third time running. Nine games to go, Man U aren't gonna slip anymore. All the hype are on them slipping, what about Liverpool? They can slip as well. I'm sure Manchester are going to take their game in hand ( against Portsmouth ) and go 7 pts clear of Liverpool again. We'll just wait and see the remainder of the season yeah? I won't be surprised to see these photos again on my TV screen anytime soon.

Holidaying but counting down
So again come the holidays. It's mid-March and what am I doing??? Blogging ! Gawd, I've really gotta do something about my studies thick and fast. I can't really enjoy the holidays anymore. I'm entering into the countdown mood already. Is that even healthy? You form 5's better study man. As for all you form 4's, it actually is wise that you start studying in form 4. Once you're as old as I am, you really regret it. Seriously, what the oldies say is true, don't waste anymore time.
-sigh-we put that to bed first and enjoy the rest of life la yeah? so what you up to? anything big planned for holidays? or you just one of them losers who rot at home, watch tv, eat and sleep? if you are, then join the club, man...
ughhh.. always never anything big planned for this type of holidays. Someone please invite me to somewhere.. anywhere, I'm dying to go out and hang out. Ok, enough about my sad life.. moving on to world news.
Manchester United beat Inter 2-0 aggregate with Nemanja Vidic and Cristiano Ronaldo supplying the goals on the return leg at Old trafford a few days ago. All 4 English teams progressed into the quarterfinals with Liverpool beating Real Madrid 5-0, Arsenal winning Roma on penalties, and Chelsea 3-2 over Juventus. Barcelona, Porto, Villareal and Bayern Munich join them for the mouth-watering quarterfinal draw in a few days. Oh and in case you didn't already know, MU are playing Liverpool tomorrow at Old Trafford. If MU wins, they virtually seal the title, if they don't then perhaps Liverpool still have a glimmer of hope of trying to wrestle the title from MU.
Oh and whats up about the song from Britney Spears entitled "when you see Amy" or something like that.. apparently it's causing lots of controversy in America. If you do know whats the fuss about, please do tell. Oh and I'm eager to watch Slumdog Millionaire and Inkheart. They look like cool movies, do invite if you're going to watch :)
I just finished the first three seasons of Grey's Anatomy !!! it ended with Lexie Grey and the new interns coming to Seattle Grace Hospital. I can't wait to get my hands on Season 4.
So I think this is about time I stop. I hope you enjoyed your daily dose of darren khoo's life.

The weekend
19-21 February 2009. Discipleship Conference at DUMC. 23-25 February 2009. First monthly test at SMK Kota Kemuning. Conference-exam-exam-conference. I THINK I should be studying.. then again I'm doing this. I"m seriously gonna run out of time for studying. It's always been the case my whole life. Not to mention the amount of time lost throughout the weekend. Is it the same for you? I bet some of you leave it to the very last minute. And there are those who don't study at all. I'm kinda like a hybrid, a bit of both. But I think the conference was good. Well, the thing that strike me is what Rev Edmund Chan said, " truth does not change lives... truth applied changes lives". Strong words, big words actually. So yeah, don't just learn something.. apply it in life. It helps.. I think.
Sports day just ended, don't exactly know who won.. probably green house or something like that (according to my sister). Oh well, for my red house.. " there's always next year !". So anyway, I've been reading the freakin' history book like 15-20 times over and over and I still can't really suck it in. Do you know how to suck information in and having them stay there? 'Cause I'd really like to know... it's painful how you try to memorize them yet fail so miserably.
I really think I should be studying now and if you're reading this anytime between 23-25 February and you're from SMK Kota Kemuning.. I really think you ought to be studying right now !!! So Go !! get lost.. xD

It's that time of year
Hey you loser blog readers...
thanks for dropping by this one and I'll try to entertain you for the next few minutes or so.
So, today is February 9th 2009. We're about 5 days away from Valentine's Day. Isn't that fast? Oh by the way, a friend told me the other day that there would be school on Valentine's Day. I was like, " Duh.. it's a Monday ". She replied, " Valentine's on the 14th you derrrr ". I said, " Oh yeah, I thought it was 16th, my bad ".
Seriously, how dungu did I sound. I'm kinda lost in time right now so most of the things are a bit haywire for me. Anyway, I hope you've got your loved ones something nice. This day only comes around once a year. This might just be another Valentines. It is up to you to make it special.
And by the way, not meaning to boast or anything but I just calculated my total earnings from my previous 4 tournaments along with angpau money from CNY. It hits a grand total of about 4k. Cool, there are loads of thing I can do with that. Yeah yeah, I know some of you might have loads more than that but oh well, I'll deal with what I've got. xPxP
So seriously, back on the Valentines issue. There have been things I've seen being sold for the occasion which to me look really really ridiculous, not to mention cheap-looking and " just for the sake of giving something " kinda thing. So, come on peoples, get the romantic part of your brain clicking and do something great this year !! I'm sure they'll love it.
Okay whatever.. something random, I've embarked on another TV series.. " Grey's Anatomy " now. I've decided to start from scratch from season 1. It's kinda cool. I like Meredith and Lexi, hahaha.
time's beckoning for me to accomplish a few more things before the day ends, so till the next one peeps...
I hope you didnt waste the past few minutes of your life. x)

thanks for dropping by this one and I'll try to entertain you for the next few minutes or so.
Yeah yeah, I know some of you might have loads more than that but oh well, I'll deal with what I've got. xPxP

Writing my 2009 book
What a wonderful New Year celebration it was. What a wonderful Christmas celebration it was. All the wonderful 'was' in 2008 have come and gone. It's time to start anew, afresh with 2009 with so many exciting things in store. It's days 7th of the year and there are already a few people telling me to do a countdown towards SPM. I mean seriously, who counts downs to SPM with about 300 days left to go?? You should be enjoying yourself ( not too much ) and slowly kick it up a notch as time goes.
OH WELL, third day into the new school calendar. The class welcomes new students, new teacher, new monitor ( Gosh !! that's me. Judgement day shall come soon ). I'm waiting on how all these pends out at the end of the year. It's a pity we lost so many students through streaming. Then again, I'm grateful for the few that came over to 5 Science 1.
I have approximately 357 days and 6 hours left to write a really really good book about year 2009 for me. I mean, I'd like to look back on this year as the breakthrough year for me and heading towards a better and brighter future. Wouldn't you? After all, you only get to write it once so why not make it memorable? It is my senior year in high school too. So I should end high school with a *bang* right? Right???
I don't quite get the novel books for students to read and use during exams especially the malay ones. It is :-
a. ridiculously long
b. in "MALAY"
c. utterly boring
d. too exam oriented
e. UTTERLY BORING !!!
Oh well, I guess u have to do what you have to do to get an A for exams. til the next one peeps
